After a year’s abstinence, I will tomorrow again be at the start of the greatest race in the world. The Tour is finally starting! Just the film at the presentation with its look back at last year, filled me with extra motivation. But no matter what, the whole team and I are looking forward to the firs stage. Today was a lot to do again. Appointments, packing suitcases, meetings. I will be happy when we can finally sit on our bikes tomorrow.

My form is good, I feel really good and hope that tomorrow everything works out the way we have planned. We want to ride for yellow. Surely the wind can be decisive, we must constantly ride attentively.

The finale will be very fast, which is good for me. About 3 kilometers before the finish it goes about 600 meters uphill. And we know that not only the sprinter teams will be up front fighting for the best places, but also the GC riders. It will be a wild ride. But I am looking forward to it and thinking positively. Until tomorrow!
