I am satisfied with the Volta ao Algarve, as you can imagine. Plus I also had the yellow jersey on my shoulders. On the last stage we tried to win the race with Tony. In the end, it wasn’t enough, but the team showed a lot of morale. And Tony has nothing to blame himself for. It is the middle of February and he is getting better all the time. We can be proud of the last few days. I am now back in Girona, my winter headquarters, and will continue to train. Next on my program is Paris-Nice.
