First race, first victory. I am totally happy. The Etixx-QuickStep Cycling Team was super. The train worked out. Great that it worked out with the guys directly the first time.

It is a good feeling to again be the first over the finish line. Really fantastic. I missed that.

I opened the sprint itself with about 250 meters to go and just went all out, without really lifting my head. I had already thought at 300 meters about going, since no one else was. And the I thought, you can win only when you show character now. It was enough and I am totally happy.
