"I like your hair!" I heard that a lot today in the finale. Despite the rain, there were a lot of people there, presenting us with a really great spectacle. And because I had my helmet on and you couldn’t even see my hair, here is a photo extra for you all!

But seriously: The stage today was ok, except for the rain. The first 40 minutes flew by at 55 km/h. But once the group was established, we could ride relatively relaxed to the finish. Actually, it was pretty much like yesterday.

We needed a pretty long time to get to the hotel after the finish. We had to travel back along some of the race course and it was still right full. I am only now finished with my massage. It will be a late night – especially since Holland plays later. We have to root for them, so that they can get third place.

We now spend two days in Alsace, which sounds quite nice. But tomorrow it is supposed to rain from the first to the final meter. No matter. I look forward to seeing all of you. You will really help motivate us.
