If I had messed up this sprint today, my teammates would probably have skinned me alive. That was a perfect sprint. Super wide road, slightly descending run-into the finish, mega-fast, a perfect lead-out. And I went for it. When no one even came close, that inspired me even more.

It was exactly the way I like it. I am super happy with our team performance. Thanks, guys. I am proud and overjoyed.

That was almost like the sprint on the Champs Elysees but instead in front of Buckingham Palace ;-)

Tomorrow is flat again, and it looks good for us again. If this day didn’t give us any self-confidence, what can? We are optimistic.

Thank you, England. These three days were unforgettable.
