Of course I am happy that the Tour de France 2018 starts with a flat stage. I expect a spectacular sprint. On the first day, everyone is still fresh and especially motivated – at least as far as the yellow jersey is concerned – and I will be too. With a total of eight flat stages the chances are good that it could be another successful Tour. With these prospects, as a sprinter I will have even more motivation in my preparation.
