I will wear the Quick-Step colors tomorrow at the Münsterland Giro for the last time – and I am really looking forward to this race. After a three-week training period, I was in the Eurometropole last weekend and it went well again. I really needed those three weeks. Success belongs 50 percent each to body and head, and I needed to bring them into balance and harmony. I was able to do that. I am looking forward to tomorrow and hope to put in a good race, have fun with the guys and of course am especially happy to ride in Germany and celebrate a cycling festival with the fans.
