Yeah! Second win at the Tour. That was my kind of sprint. Thanks to the team. The guys gave everything for me and brought me to the front perfectly in a hectic finale. I must honestly say that in these hectic arrivals, no team can really set up a real lead-out. So I set out on my own at some point, in order to do my thing. I came from pretty far back, was in ninth position and then at 250 meters went full out and pulled it off.

My feeling is great. I am putting full power on the chain. It is fun – even when it is as hot as it was today. You have to keep cooling your motor with lots of water and ice and then you can make it. Thanks again also on my Thüringer fan club, which has had a huge sign on the course the last few days. That really motivated me. Friday there will hopefully be another sprint!
