About 200 meters before the finish line a speed bump stopped me in the finale – well actually, it was my chain. I was on Groenewegen’s rear wheel when my chain jumped off and I was out of the action. But I am still well off. My legs are good, I felt super and the time trial yesterday showed that I am in good shape. I sat on the hot seat a long time until the last starter, Roglic, could beat my time. My teammate Maximilian Schachmann also rode a super race. He was only 0.1 second slower than me and therefore third. We are now both on our way to the podium in the GC. Tomorrow the course will be pretty rolling, but I think that it will once again end in a bunch sprint.
