Three wins, the overall title and my eighth win ever here in Dubai. This season start gives me a lot of self-confidence. The team was great.

Today we absolutely wanted to show again that we can ride at the very top. We were all fresh and highly motivated, after yesterday’s stage was rightfully cancelled. A compliment to the organizers, who decided not to carry out the stage. That is an important step for more safety for us riders.

Compliments also once more to my whole team. We worked together well and Max really convinced us in his first race.

Tonight we will celebrate properly. For me, things will continue in Abu Dhabi. So I will soon be back in the desert ;-)
